Max von Abendroth joined FAEP in January 2005 as Director of Communications and Sustainability. From his previous position at the Association of German Magazine Publishers (VDZ)(2001-2004), he has been following FAEP's environmental issues. Max holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration (Witten/Herdecke University, Germany).

Catherine Starkie

Catherine Starkie, who is a lawyer (she qualified as a solicitor in the UK), joined the FAEP team in Brussels on August 2010 after 8 years working for Weber Shandwick, a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy. She has also worked for the European Commission and the College of Europe on internal market issues.

EU AFFAIRS OFFICER
Amandine Labé

Amandine Labé joined FAEP in April 2010 as EU Affairs Officer following a three months traineeship at FAEP. Amandine holds a French-German double degree in political sciences from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Lille (France) and the Westfälische-Wilhelms Universität, Münster (Germany). During her Master, she specialized in European Affairs and gained some relevant work experience in this field.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Caroline Quintero P.

Caroline Quintero has joined FAEP on June 2009. She first completed two traineeships with FAEP, the first from March to June 2008 (Organise and coordinate the staging of the FAEP AGM 2008 Gala dinner), and the second from September to March 2009 (Create and oversee production FAEP 2008 Report, and coordinate the Conference “Turning Europe into the Healthiest Society” held in march 2009 in the EU Parliament). In charge of FAEP Communications and Events, Caroline studied Communication in HELET, Liege, Belgium.

TRAINEE
Florent Caignol

Florent Caignol joined FAEP in July 2010 as a trainee. After he studied history in Nice (France), Florent worked for the French civil service in Nice, in managed services in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK), and as an accountant in Italy. He then went back to studies, passing a double degree in European public affairs from Ecole de Management Leonard de Vinci, Paris (France) and London South Bank University (UK).

TRAINEE
Caterina Boiardi

Caterina Boiardi joined FAEP in 2010 as trainee. She graduated in June 2008 in Political Science at the University of Pavia and then took the Master of Science in International Relation and European Integration at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Milan in which she graduated in July 2010.During these years she took several internships in different International Organizations and NGOs. She has an international experience having attended an abroad year in England and having lived in Madrid, Barcelona and Toronto for several months.
